Why I Created this Site

Living a Metaphysical Life

I created this blog to share my experiences & insights living as a modern-day Christ-centered metaphysician.

From talking with others over the years, I realize that few people have the right idea of what a genuine metaphysician’s spiritual path and lifestyle is all about. It tends to conjure up images of the occult, tarot cards, and crystal ball gazing.

This couldn’t be further from the truth!

And almost everyone thinks it certainly couldn’t (or even shouldn’t) have anything to do with Christ.

I did, too.

But the students & teachers of the genuine mystical traditions of the world have always known differently.

Are You Content With Your Spiritual Progress?

If you’re a little leary or conflicted by religion, turned off by all things woo-woo and cultish (and rightly so!), but lack the tremendous blind faith required to assert that no God exists at all, then you might find the traditional mystical spiritual path of ascension calls to you…maybe even seems uncannily familiar?

It was just this way for me.

Sharing helps us all to grow in the light!

My hope is this site will serve as a launch pad to help the casually curious, deeply questioning, and spiritually serious seekers alike find some of the answers they are looking for…

…or at the very least learn how they may grow in light and spiritual strength every day with every single word, thought, act and deed.

Specifically, I hope to share some of the illuminating insights I have picked up on the aura, meditation, faith, prayer, intuition, and inspiration while on my journey.

As a mystery school student on the path of ascension, my approach to life is strongly guided by the knowledge & wisdom of the Judeo-Christian mystery tradition known as the Kingdom of Light Teachings, as taught by Barbara Y. Martin & Dimitri Moraitis of the Spiritual Arts Institute.

I highly recommend them for new and experienced spiritual students alike:

What Motivates Me Most

Most especially, I hope to inspire others meant to follow the metaphysical path to find the courage & motivation to jump in and get started.

Or build on what they’ve already accomplished spiritually to climb even higher.

I am so happy to share here whatever I can to help others who are ready for the light to find their way out of the dark.

Thanks for reading this and checking out my blog.

I am touched my work here speaks to you, AmDetermined!

The books are a great starting place (that’s how I found the Spiritual Arts Institute), and they will walk you through how to get started working with Divine Light in your meditations right away.

Thank you kindly for helping support me by purchasing any books through my Amazon links, too! That is very generous.

If you are interested in starting the classes, don’t worry about any affiliate links for that. There are none! I am not being paid to share SAI with the world through my blog; I just know that in a future lifetime, I’ll cash in on the good karma from this when someone like me will be working hard to help me find the best spiritual teacher!

There is no prerequisite to start, but the foundation class does have to be taken first, and that is an 8-week course called Change Your Aura, Change Your Life. You will want to buy the book by the same name first as they do study it in class.

Classes are taught live, either locally in Encinitas, CA or globally online. You will always receive a recording of the class and notes after every session through SAI’s student portal.

It may be best to sign up for SAI’s email newsletter so you will be notified of all upcoming classes and workshops. We are in the middle of summer classes now, and I don’t think the Fall sessions start until late September, but there are a couple of events in September you could join to sort of “sample” these classes and teachings.

The class info site is SpiritualArts.org/classes

Certainly, you are welcome to contact me privately! Email me  at desa@liveheallove.com or DM me through Instagram, Twitter or Pinterest if you prefer and I will be happy to help you out!

You got my name right on, Taetske, my dear! Having an unusual name yourself, maybe like me though you find you’re happy to respond to anything, right? LOL.

Your comment is very inspired, by the way, when you speak of how modern man has managed to distance himself so much from nature and even our own ancient past. Yet, STILL, no matter the heights we claim as a civilization, we all come back to these same fundamental questions we have always asked!

Many things in the modern world seem antagonistic to the spiritual. Or completely fray the mind in endless meaningless distractions and diversions. And our obsession with our physical bodies swing from one sort of grotesque extreme to the other as we seek to try to discover and even define who we are by reshaping, twisting and abusing the body or the bodies of others.

As if we were only our bodies!

But no matter what we do, so much research shows a people that are less happy, content, fulfilled, productive and accomplished than ever before.

The truth is not that there is a spiritual life and earthly life.

Try to separate the spiritual from something and you get only stagnation and even degeneration because everything in life is born first of spirit. Spirit is the source of all true inspiration, all science and technology that helps people, all music and art and literature, all success, all prosperity, and all advancement.

When we aren’t aware of that, we cut ourselves off from inspiration, or if we get a great idea we may be tempted to misuse it, thinking it belongs to us. Really, we were just the instrument through which it flowed to reach others.

Even so, I’m not saying something has to be labeled as spiritual to help us grow and find our balance, and avoid taking the wrong road that leads to misery. There really are many paths to God, all ultimately ushering every soul tenderly, bit by bit, to the same destination we all seeking. And every path is designed to uniquely suit all the various souls in their own special tastes, preferences, abilities, and consciousness.

Work, art, science, religion, metaphysics, philosophy, ethics, business, and so many other things can be that path that gives the soul opportunity to find balance and to grow–if pursued with the right attitude and a heart bent on service.

It is the living utterly concerned with self, and ruthless ambition that leaves us ironically wanting and feeling a lack and imbalance.

Thanks for your kind words and I do wish you every success in your own pursuits!

I really appreciate the reasons for creating your website like to help me get out of the darkness. I will buy one of the books through your affiliate links on your website. When I complete the reading and I see that it contains what I am looking for, I will tell others about the Spiritual Arts Institute. I will contact you privately for more questions about it, how I can be a student, and if any pre-requisite training is needed.

    Good Morning Desa,

I am not sure but hope I got your name right.

Websites like yours are very much needed. The modern human, living in a mechanical world and mostly separated from nature still wants to find the answer to those questions the human race has asked since the beginning. We want to know why we are here, we want to know where we belong, and where we will be going afterward.

Bringing body, mind, and spirit together again we will receive the answer to our questions.

    Regards, Taetske
