You’re most welcome Roger. I hope you will be, too; just remember you choose your response to life. May 2019 be a new beginning for you and be your best year yet because you will make it so!

    Hi Joe,

I have no doubts that what you are experiencing is indeed what we call a spiritual awakening, which is a quickening of the soul calling it to once again take up the spiritual path and start to climb the spiritual ladder.

Many, many old souls are being called right now and that’s why I would strongly encourage you to trust that inspiration and follow it to where ever it guides you. This is no accident, you have earned the right to this awakening. Congratulations and I urge you to make the most of it!

It is clear your intuition is already well attuned, as you are correct in finding Christmas and New Year’s to be a good time to initiate this sort of work. There is a very strong down-pouring of Divine Light to the earth during this time of year all the way up to New Year’s.

As for denominations, I am personally a Christian and a metaphysician, but these teachings from SAI are nondenominational universal spiritual principles that work as a complement to your present spiritual practice or faith. These teachings from SAI emphasize a metaphysical tradition known as the Kingdom of Light Teachings which are presented in a practical, educational context.

For preparation, take some time to make a list of what you would like to accomplish next year. I recommend praying for guidance on this list. Also, on a separate sheet of paper, make a list of everything you want to release from this past year–that you wish to be purified of and not carry with you into 2019. More instructions and additional assignments will be given in class or emailed just prior.

This is one of my absolute favorite events of the year! I hope you and your sister get a chance to join in, but either way I hope you find your own true path and achieve your highest spiritual potential for this life. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Take Care,

    Desa

    Hi Eric,

My condolences for your loss this year; certainly grieving is okay and will take some time. Generally, if it has been more than six months though and you are still deeply grieving it can be very helpful to start seeking some form of healing or counseling. I just want to mention that just in case. Prolonged deep grief is not healthy for you as we all know, but what is lesser known is that it also can hold our departed loved one back, too. They may hesitate to move on when we won’t let them go. Know you will see them again. Really. These partings are temporary and both souls have more work to do until they unite again on the other side. No love is ever lost.

The Holy Ones do come around us all during these events, even for those just tuning in on camera online, and they bless us with what we may need at the time. I always feel so uplifted and restored after these events, and the New Year’s is one of my favorites. If you are feeling at all inspired to attend, I would say trust that inspiration and follow it.

Usually about 50-90 people attend in person, and anywhere from 100 – 200 online from all over the world. Yet the technology is state of the art, and so you will feel like you are right there in the room with the in-person attendees as you will be able to see and hear them and they will be able to see and hear you.

Hope to see you there; meanwhile, I have added you and your departed loved one to our healing list.

    Take Care,

    Desa

Thank you Barry! I am delighted to have you join us; this event is always such a treat and really helps set the tone and focus for the next year. Let me know what you think after you attend if you get a chance.

Great idea Tim! I don’t host the event, my spiritual teachers do, but I certainly attend and it might be a nice addition to add a little update after events like these.

I’m really feeling the need for a sort of spiritual reawakening and Christmas time and the New Year is a good time for it.  I watched the video and passed your post on to my sister.

Are you affiliated with a particular denomination? What preparation can I do for your event?

Thanks. I am looking forward to it.

    Best regards,

    Joe

Thank you! You are right about the price which is almost unheard of in the metaphysical world. Spiritual Arts Institute is a non-profit metaphysical educational center, and they aim to keep the prices as low as possible so that anyone seeking a quality metaphysical education can pursue these uniquely clear and complete teachings.

Hope to see you there online!

New Years is always a fresh start and an opportunity to put events that brought pain and stress during the previous year behind us. For me, I had to deal with a death of a very close family member. It would be nice to find peace and start next year fresh. This event looks incredible! How many people will be attending?

  • AvatarBarry Bullard says:

I was searching for some neat things to do on New Year’s Eve and looks like I found something awesome to do on this post.

The event sounds fun and packed with a lot of worthwhile things to get things lined up for 2019!

Thank you again.  Will definitely be checking out the online event!

  • AvatarTim Bennett says:

    Hello Again Desa,

What a magnificent way to start the new year and I hope the event is massively successful for you.

I love the way you talk and the words you use in your posts.

You also made me smile when I saw you have a fish named Michael.

I hope after the event you can create a post about the success and what happened!

That would be really great to read.

Look forward to more spiritual thoughts from you

    Tim

Thanks for sharing your website. I can’t wait til next year. 2018 was rough for me. I hope I’m up when the ball comes down at Time Square.

  • AvatarMatt's Mom says:

This looks very interesting and like a great way to start the new year.  I have not heard of Barbara Martin or the Spiritual Arts Institute, but I do plan on doing a little online work on this.  I might just join in for this!  $25 is not a huge amount of money, and I think it might be well worth it!
