o matter what your spiritual or religious practice, a home altar is a very important part of your spiritual work. Your personal home altar serves as a strong contact point between you and the Divine, where you welcome the blessings of Divine Light into your home, offer prayers, conduct your meditations, keep a healing book, and even purify, charge and bless crystals and any other objects. Your home altar design need not be elaborate or large, and how you go about setting it up is a very personal matter. You cannot go wrong, so don’t fret!

If you are looking for some ideas to inspire or guide you, then you will find some here. In this post, I offer certain nondenominational elements of home altar design, placement, offerings, and maintenance wisdom from the ancient practices of metaphysics and feng shui for you to consider.

If you need to pin this baby for later, I recommend doing that now!
