[thrive_drop_caps color=’purple’ style=’2′]T[/thrive_drop_caps]here are so many ways that the Divine Light can work for you in your life to bless, guide, heal, prosper and protect you–nothing in your life is too big or too small for God, not even your phone calls!

Cell phone or telephone, in this brief post, I offer a wonderful way to put the light to the test with something all of us deal with nearly every single day. If you work A LOT on the phone, then you will be quick to perceive what a difference it can make to bless your phone call.

If you need to pin this baby for later, I recommend doing that now!

Why Bother Blessing Your Phone Calls?

That angry customer. The emotional mother. The raging ex. With these sorts of people on the other end of the line, have you ever noticed you can go from feeling just fine to feeling totally sidetracked for hours after even the briefest telephone encounter?

That’s because the physical distance between us and the caller doesn’t matter. They can project their emotional and thought energies right through the phone. If we are not prepared, we can be caught off guard and instantly accept those energies, letting them disturb our spiritual equilibrium.

It is especially important to bless your phone calls when your work requires you to spend so much time on the phone.bless your phone call

Customers and clients are often likely to “take their emotions out on you” because they are less inclined to see the need to preserve good relations with someone who is paid to tolerate their bad behavior. If you have ever worked customer service, I know you know what I mean!

Finally, many of us have someone in our life who is especially emotionally volatile or needy. If you groan or feel like bracing yourself when you see someone pop up on your caller ID, that’s the person I am talking about. They call you when they’re feeling down in the dumps; when the call is over, they may or may not feel better but you only feel better because the call is finally ended.

Phone conversations like these literally drain the energy from our auric field if we let them.

Blessing Your Calls Can Make Them Go So Much More Smoothly

I use this tool for blessing my phone calls all the time with my Mom. I love her, but she is struggling with depression, and so you never know what to expect. It can be so nerve-racking!

When I use this blessing, I notice I am so much more empowered to refuse letting her push my buttons–which Mommies know how to do like no one else.

I also notice that I get a very clear prompting telling me when to end the call before things escalate, and I I feel guided in my words to do that gracefully without any additional offense to my mother’s hyper-sensitive nature.

How to Do It. So Simple!

The next time the phone rings, just before you answer or right before you start dialing, simply ask the light to go into your phone, your conversation, and to the person on the other end of the line to keep everything on a high, positive level.

You can use that wording or your own special adaptation. The key is to specifically mention asking the light to go into your phone and conversation; asking it to go to the other person is optional, but always a noble, loving thing to request.

Just try it today and see what it does for you with your challenging callers, important business calls, or any call you make or answer.

I do think the Divine Light is often referred to by other names for people often recognize its effects in their lives even when they do not know what the source of those effects are. Nevertheless, it is still Divine Light people are referring to, whether they recognize it as such or not. The Divine Light is the ultimate reality behind all the adjectives people may feel more comfortable applying based on their personal preference or cultural traditions.

This is true with so many aspects of the spiritual life! Cultures and traditions have so many different names for the same things. It creates a lot of confusion sometimes, and non-believers will point to these things as conflicts, but the truth is that there is a great unified Truth behind all these things. One Source – the All.

Take the term God. People may be referring to God as Creator, Source, Allah, the Universe, intelligence, Mother Nature, Goddess, Maker, and so on. We are all in some way recognizing God is the Ultimate Reality, and acknowledging the effects of God in our life in our own way with such terms, but referring to God in the manner we are most comfortable with based on our background, experience and level of Divine awareness.

But no matter what we may prefer to call Him (or Her, just as appropriately), we are talking about God.

Then there is the relationship between Divine Light and God. Divine Light emanates from God. It is the conduit of God-consciousness. Divine Light acts like a container for the consciousness of so many qualities of the the Divine, such as some of the qualities you mentioned–love, healing, etc. The Divine Light is how the God-consciousness is delivered to us so we can receive and use it.

So you are right on…is Divine Light positive energy, love, healing energy? Yes, it is all of these things and much, much more!

  • You’re exactly right, Kris! It is so hard to fight positivity with negativity. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and share your thoughts.

  • I totally agree about sending divine light to the phone and those we come in contact with.  I am big on meditation, so I understand the importance of sending positive thoughts and vibrations to those we have to communicate with.

Would you say Divine light can be called other things? Like positive energy, love, healing energy, etc?

  • Hi Desa,

I do totally know what you mean.  I’ve worked in retail and food service and then computer support.  I’ve had my fair share of irate customers.  I’ve always been pretty good at getting them to calm down, most of the time they end up apologizing to me for being so upset and taking it out on me, as you mentioned.  I think you hit the nail on the head with keeping things positive.  Divine intervention works in much the same way.  It’s hard to fight positivity with negativity.

  • Thank you so much for the article, it has been really helpful. I have always been depressed whenever I listened to someone angry or complaining, and because of this part of my nature, I find it very difficult to pick up my phone and listen to people. I do not want to hear their lousy voice! But I am glad I read this article. I will now apply it to myself.

I will definitely share this post with my friends and family. I believe this might also help them.
